33 mm monocle can be made for any SLR/DSLRs and mirrorless cameras.
Suitable for landscape, cityscape, genre shooting. The monocle is equipped with an iris diaphragm, so that the degree of softness of the image can be adjusted within a wide range. The lens housing has a large focus ring stroke. The near focusing distance of the monocle is 21 cm. This allows you to shoot moderate macro without the use of additional devices.
Made in the body of the old soviet lens Industar-50.
For DSLRs, this is the minimum possible focal length.
Like conventional wide-angle lenses, monocle 33 mm has a significant level of distortion. Shoot them a portrait will not work - the person portrayed will look like through a door peephole.
A feature of the monocle pattern is a characteristic decrease in detail at the periphery of the frame (astigmatism). The edges of the frame visually look twisted. More clearly, this feature is manifested when shooting on full-length cameras.
Another feature is that in the contoured light and at a certain angle of inclination of the sun's rays, the monocle creates a glare in the form of a rainbow.
